Street Soccer teamed up with the American Outlaws to host the Charlotte screening of Pelada at the Neighborhood Theater Tuesday, June 8th. Pelada is a documentary featuring two former US college soccer players on a journey around the world to play pick up soccer and discover the heart of the game. Rebekah Fergusson, the filmmaker and former Duke player, attended the screening and answered questions afterward. Local soccer players, coaches, and supporters came together to celebrate the power of the game here in Charlotte and around the world. Over 480 tickets were sold to support the Pelada project and StreetSoccer945. Thank you to everyone who attended!
